Quick question.

Where do you get Bone Minions and the such from?

I've got bone horrors and I'm planning on having a Death necro.

Here's where you can get each of the summon skills -

Bone Fiend
Trainer - Droknar's Forge
Quest - The Forgotten Ones (Crystal Desert Quest)
Boss - Sir ?? (This is the Boss for Reversing The Skales quest in Kryta)

Bone Minion
Trainer - Droknar's Forge
Quest - The Royal Papers (Kryta Quest)
Boss - ???

Bone Horror
Trainer - Ascalon City
Quest #1 - The Necromancer Novice (Pre-Searing Catacomb Quest)
Quest #2 - The Stolen Artifact (Ascalon Quest)
Boss - ??

Hope this helps. Sorry I don't know what Boss you can get Bone Horror or Bone Minion's from. I can't remember the name of the Boss that has Bone Fiends, but it's the end Boss you need to kill for the quest Reversing The Skales that you get from Captain Greywind in the Ascalon Settlement in Kryta.

Fair enough, but consider how frustrating it is to be trapped behind a wall of minions and pets, constantly getting underfoot and in the way.

Bah, don't listen to these nay-sayers! I love my minion army when I play my Necro. Admittidly my necro is more Blood than Death, but I love running around with henchies summoning minion's every chance I can get

Thing is, Necro's shouldn't ever be bothered about minion's getting in the way as they have enough distance attacks that they should never get in the way... and if ya take henchies.. they dun complain about anything :P

And anyways, you won't ever have more than ~5-6 minion's up at any time anyways. Usually you'll only have 2-3 up max while you move between fights. This is because minion's get health degen fast.. so until you can get certain spells you can't maintain a minion army for too long.. about the only time you'll get a huge army is in the middle of a fight if you summon minion's as soon as an enemy dies.

i can remember pre sear as my necro.
standing in a feild of worms with my minions scurrying about hitting them...

i truly love minions.

A necro/monk is great for keeping minons alive with Heal Area, in PVP I would carry heal area on my w/mo and keep Necro pets alive from battle to battle. It's fun having hordes of minion to piss off the opponents because they do get in the way and are annoying and if you use automatic pathing you deserve to be blocked.

Having lots of bone minions/horrors/fiends is great in a ranged party! if you keep them alive you and your party will walk around with 5-20 bodyguards

it's great for missions

I supose If you play with a bunch or rangers, they will love you. They can shoot over yer minions, the minions block for them, and no one else wants to play with them :-D
